- Microblading
Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing treatment performed specifically on the eyebrows, and in which pigment is planted into the top layer of the skin (dermis) with a specifically designed handheld tool that mimics and creates realistic fine hair-like strokes.
Microblading is a form of semi-permanent make-up. The longevity is subject to fading over time due to a number of factors like the client and the health of their skin, post-treatment care, skin type, lifestyle etc, but generally 1-3 years with a top up annually to help maintain.
Microblading - Hair-like strokes. More of a natural appearance.
Ombre/Powder brows - More of the makeup effect, more depth and slightly more dramatic.
Combination - A mix of both Microblading and Powder brows treatments.
A numbing cream will be used prior to and throughout the treatment to help in the reduction of any discomfort. Everyone’s pain threshold varies, but the best way to describe the sensation felt during the treatment would be similar to that of a cat scratch. There shouldn't be a point where the pain becomes unbearable.
How do I book an appointment as two appointments are needed?
Book the first appointment where everything will also be explained pre and post treatment, then on departure, the second appointment will be booked in 4 weeks. This is to allow for the healing process to be complete from the first appointment.
A full consultation can be booked on request but is not necessary as a full consult is given during the first appointment. A longer consultation may be necessary if you have concerns, contraindication or issues that need to be assessed/discussed in great depth. The fee is $50 for 30 mins and if the treatment is carried out the $50 will be subtracted from the final total.
$100 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. The remaining amount can be paid on the day of treatment via credit or debit card only. You have 72 hours to cancel or reschedule. If notice is given less than 72 hours prior to your treatment, your deposit will be lost.
